Data   Citywide Data Warehouse’s (CityDW) main focus is to provide data that is useful to residents and District workers. In order to provide data, the CityDW analysts meet with agency staff to identify, gather, and analyze relevant datasets. These efforts, in combination with the DC GIS team, have resulted in an extensive data collection–currently consisting of over 200 data sets.   What CityDW Does With Data:   Creates presentation-grade summary reports using business intelligence software. Provides data to residents and businesses through data feeds and a data catalog that can be displayed through their method of choice. Builds web applications (Neighborhood View and Mobile View) that allow government staffers to easily access data in a meaningful way. Provides customized business intelligence solutions to agencies, allowing them to generate desired reports internally.
